Islamic Counselling: A New Model? | Kashmala Qasim

According to the Canadian Women’s Foundation, 67% of all Canadians say they personally know at least one woman who has been sexually abused or physically assaulted. Let’s sit down with someone who’s focusing on the solutions, to help reduce this statistics. Kashmala Qasim is a PhD candidate at York University in Psychology focusing on social and personality. She also received her Level Pastoral Counselling Training from the University of Toronto, combining psychotherapeutic with Islamic principles. Let’s hear her thoughts on Islamic counselling.
