Allah (SWT) says in Surah Al-Baqarah, “Thus We have appointed you a middle nation, that you may be witnesses over mankind, and that the messenger may be a witness over yourselves ..." Islam is the middle path. It teaches us to have balance in our thoughts and in our actions. Although some Muslims fall into extremes, Islam does not approve any extremism or fanaticism. Having a balanced approached in all facets of our life is a key principle in Islam.

How can we protect ourselves from falling into extremes? How can we, as youth, engage with our communities to help instill this practice in our lives?
