You Can Fight Bill 21 | Mustafa Farooq

The government of #Quebec has passed a law that bans people working in the public sector from wearing crosses, headscarves, turbans and yarmulkes. This includes teachers, judges and police officers. This law disproportionately affects individuals from immigrant and racialized communities and forces Quebeckers to choose between their religion and their ability to make a living. Mustafa Farooq is CEO of the National Council of #Canadian #Muslims. NCCM has been at the forefront of the battle to challenge Bill 21 in the courts. Mustafa invites Canadians to join the battle to defeat Bill-21 and make Quebec a better place for all.
