The following aphorism alludes to the great heavenly covenant which took place in the Realm of the Souls, the entire mankind being made to bear witness the Oneness of Allah Most High. Our expression of Ashadu allā 'ilāha illallah (I bear witness that there is no God but Allah) is physical evidence of this. It is for the seeker to actualize this testimomy both verbally and physically so as to remain truthful to what he has testified to.
