Regarding wudu in Surah Al-Ma’idah, it clearly states to wash one’s face and hands up to the elbows, and to wipe one's head and feet up the ankles. Why do scholars translate that feet are to be washed, not wiped? And why do we add the rinsing of the nose and the mouth even if it is mentioned in Hadith? Shouldn’t the Quran take precedence over Hadith?
