The official nasheed video for the new nasheed single 'Muhammad' (Peace Be Upon Him), by Omar Esa. The brother sings passionately about the first revelation of the Quran to the man Muhammad, and the huge task that was given to him. The video reflects the anxieties of a young muslim man, retreating from the city to the mountains in order to reassess his perspective and position in life, just as Muhammad used to do 1400 years ago. He then returns, reinvigorated, and and energised, to spread the message that Muhammad was given, of tawheed (the oneness of the Creator of the Universe) and the validity of Muhammad;'s Prophethood.
This nasheed is for muslim and non-muslim alike to enjoy, learn from and benefit; a great stepping stone for young people to remove themselves from the traps of modern music and move towards something more wholesome and beneficial.
This is also a great example of Omar's range and vocal capabilities, and also the epitome of his genre 'InB', Islam and blues, which takes many inspiration from Omar's own RnB background.
