The idea of reforming the Islamic jurisprudence is not a new sentiment; rather, it is an inherently legitimate statement with a historic basis founded in the era of prophet (peace be upon him) and beyond. What are the reasons for the need to reform and rationalize the Islamic jurisprudence along with the corresponding changes in reality, customs and people’s needs?
