ABOUT THE SPEAKER -

Born and raised in New Jersey, Shadeed Muhammad embraced Islam in 1996 and studied the Arabic language at the Institute of Arabic Language for two years in Saudi Arabia. After mastering the Arabic language, he went on pursue his baccalaureate degree from the University of Medinah. Shadeed Muhammad is the founder of Rawdah Publications and www.Rawdah.org. He is the Imam of United Muslim Masjid founded by Kenny Gamble in Philadelphia, PA. He speaks in various communities, teaches Arabic classes and other workshops to benefit muslims. His professional interests include women's rights in Islam, combating Islamophobia in the US, writing faith based books and more. He currently resides in Philadelphia with his family.
