Is Jesus God?

Did Jesus ever claim to be God?

Does the Bible teach that Jesus is God?

What do Muslims believe about Jesus? Is he a prophet or more than a prophet?

Jesus Christ (pbuh), just as all the other prophets, is a chosen servant of God whom God assigned to summon people to the true path.

However, there are some attributes of Jesus distinguishing him from other prophets, the most important one being that he was raised up to God and that he will come back to earth again.

Representing the Muslim perspective was Shabir Ally: Shabir Ally has earned a B.A. in Religious Studies from Laurentian University in Sudbury, Ontario, with a specialization in Biblical Literature, and an M.A. in Religious Studies from the University of Toronto with a specialization in Quranic Exegesis.

He is now in his third year of Ph.D studies in Quranic Exegesis at the University of Toronto.

He is the president of the Islamic Information & Dawah Centre International in Toronto where he functions as Imam.

He travels internationally to represent Islam in public lectures and interfaith dialogues.

He explains Islam on a weekly television program called "Let the Quran Speak.

Representing the Christian side was Dr. Hans Visser: Dr Visser is reverend of the PKN Church in the Netherlands.

He has worked in the cities Ij muiden,Wijk aan zee ,St .Laurens and Leek,in the seventy years he has worked in Indonesia and later till 2007 in Rotterdam.In Rotterdam he has promoted discussions between Muslims and Christians.
