About the speaker:

Furqan Jabbar was born in Melbourne, Australia. In 2002, he completed a diploma in Arabic studies at King Saud University in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. He then remained in Riyadh where he pursued a degree in Islamic studies specialising in Fiqh & Uṣūl al-Fiqh.

Sheikh Furqan Jabbar has experience working for Islamic research institutes and daʿwah centres. He has worked with Islamic Finance companies in the Middle East where his role included providing research and structuring in Sharīʿah products.

Sheikh Furqan has completed his Masters degree in Islamic Banking & Finance in Melbourne. He enjoys teaching, translating and gives classes on ʿaqīdah and tawḥīd in his locality. In his free time, he enjoys reading, visiting family and friends and playing table-tennis.
