The Campaign to Free Khaled Al-Qazzaz: NEXT STEPS | Ahmad Attia

Khaled al-Qazzaz, a Canadian permanent resident, was illegally detained by the Egyptian military for 542 days. In January 2015, Khaled was released, without ever being charged. But airport authorities have denied Khaled and his family permission to leave Egypt and return to Canada. Khaled’s wife and four children are Canadian, and they hope the Canadian government will do more to allow them to return home. Joining me is Sarah’s brother, Ahmad Attia, to help us learn more about Khaled’s story and what we can do to help.
