Every single commandment in our Deen, whether it is the Zakah or the Hajj or the Fasts of Ramadan, Allah (subḥānahu wa ta'āla) sent Jibreel ('alayhi'l-salām) down to give the Message directly to our Prophet (ṣallallāhu 'alayhi wa sallam), but one commandment was so important that the Messenger was invited in the Divine presence of the King of Kings to receive the Message directly from the Divine.

The purpose of this Divine audience with Allah (subḥānahu wa ta'āla) was to establish the five times ṣalāh
