Quran 1: Surah Fatiha with Vietnamese Translation and Roman Transliteration

The opening chapter Surah Fatiha of the Holy Quran in Vietnamese language. The chapter contains the most fundamental teachings of Islam.

Islam in Vietnam dates back to Uthman ibn Affan, the third Caliph of Islam. According to the legends, he introduced islam in the region by sending a Muslim envoy to Vietnam and to the Tang Dynasty in China in the year 650. Very early in the history of Islam, seagoing Muslim traders known to have made stops at Champa Kingdom ports en route to China. However, the earliest known evidence is derived from the documents of the Song Dynasty-era which shows that the Cham familiarised themselves with Islam in the late 10th and early 11th centuries.
