Being purpose driven is a value that all Muslims(Submitters to God) are to instill within themselves. Three very important points are covered in this Khutbah. The purpose of life, fuel for this purpose and the importance of sharing the message of this purpose.
Many have devised their own perceptions of this concept, however, there is only one correct answer. The Creator of the Heavens and the Earth tells us in the Quran;
"And I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me." (Quran; 51:56)
To be people that are purpose driven we must be of those that seek knowledge, who climb the spiritual ladder to better understand and fulfill this purpose. Spending our time wisely seeking beneficial knowledge in Deen and involving ourselves in anything that enlightens us and teaches us about the values of our true purpose in this life.
"The fish in the sea, the birds in the air make dua for the one who seeks knowledge." Sharing the beautiful message of Islam and most importantly sharing the true meaning of the purpose of life is incumbent upon us all. Islam means submission to the Creator alone. Islam is the belief that there is only One God, whose proper name is Allah, which means the God.
