Pearls from the Qur'an (Ramadan 2017 Khatirahs Part 16): The Neglected Prayer: Tahajjud

In today's Khatirah, Shaykh Dr Yasir Qadhi delivers a valuable reminder about The Neglected Prayer, Tahajjud. Allah(SWT) says in the Qur’an: “And from [part of] the night, pray with it as additional [worship] for you; it is expected that your Lord will resurrect you to a praised station.”
{Surah Al Isra, Verse 79}

Do we know the actual concept/importance of Tahajjud and Qiyaam Al Layl? Even the Prophet(SAW) was encouraged to pray Tahajjud as the second revelation of the Qur’an came down.
