Opening Remarks | 15th MAS ICNA Convention

Opening and welcoming remarks for the 2016 MAS-ICNA Convention. Why the theme, its inception, and the goal of the convention will be addressed. We should speak out against oppressions, stand up against injustice, and promote peace and harmony all of which are in line with our Islamic teachings. Our theme this year aims to encourage American Muslims to fulfill their Islamic duty of contributing to society in any way they can.
