At a Muslim youth camp in Central Florida, Ahmad Sakr conducts his popular course specializing in the area of Islamic law. He frames his presentation by outlining exactly what the shari'ah is and identifying its ten sources. He received his Islamic education through the late Grand Mufti of Lebanon and from Muslim scholars from neighboring countries. He was a founding member and president of the Muslim Students' Association and also a founding member of the World Council of Mosques in Makkah. Currently, he is president of the Foundation for Islamic Knowledge and has written over 56 books, not including the many articles he has authored and published.
