WHAT DO MUSLIMS BELIEVE?

"And your god is one God. There is no deity [worthy of worship] except Him, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful."
The Qur'aan 2: 163

"He has ordained for you the same religion which He ordained for NOAH and that which We have revealed to you, [O Muhammad], and what We enjoined upon ABRAHAM and MOSES and JESUS to establish the religion and not be divided therein. Difficult for those who associate others with Allah (Almighty God the Creator) is that to which you invite them. Allah chooses for Himself whom He wills and guides to Himself whoever turns back [to Him]."
The Qur'aan 42: 13

WHAT DO MUSLIMS BELIEVE ABOUT JESUS?

"[And mention] when the angels said, "O MARY, indeed Allah gives you good tidings of a word from Him, whose name will be the MESSIAH, JESUS, the son of Mary - held in honour in this world and in the Hereafter, and will be one of those who are near to Allah." The Qur'aan 3: 45

"She said, "My Lord , how will I have a child when no man has touched me?" [The angel] said, "Such is Allah; He creates what He wills. When He decrees a matter, He only says to it, 'Be,' and it is. And He will teach him writing and wisdom and the Torah and the Gospel..." The Qur'aan 3: 47-48

WHAT DOES ISLAAM TEACH?

"And [mention, O Muhammad], when Luqman said to his son while he was instructing him, "O my son, do not associate [anything] with Allah. Indeed, association [with him] is great injustice."
And We have enjoined upon man [care] for his parents. His mother carried him, [increasing her] in weakness upon weakness, and his weaning is in two years. Be grateful to Me and to your parents; to Me is the [final] destination.

But if they endeavor to make you associate with Me that of which you have no knowledge, do not obey them but accompany them in [this] world with appropriate kindness and follow the way of those who turn back to Me [in repentance]. Then to Me will be your return, and I will inform you about what you used to do.

[And Luqman said], "O my son, indeed if wrong should be the weight of a mustard seed and should be within a rock or [anywhere] in the heavens or in the earth, Allah will bring it forth. Indeed, Allah is Subtle and Acquainted.

O my son, establish prayer, enjoin what is right, forbid what is wrong, and be patient over what befalls you. Indeed, [all] that is of the matters [requiring] determination.

And do not turn your cheek [in contempt] toward people and do not walk through the earth exultantly. Indeed, Allah does not like everyone self-deluded and boastful.

And be moderate in your pace and lower your voice; indeed, the most disagreeable of sounds is the voice of donkeys."

Do you not see that Allah (Almighty God the Creator) has made subject to you whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth and amply bestowed upon you His favors, [both] apparent and unapparent? But of the people is he who disputes about Allah without knowledge or guidance or an enlightening Book [from Him]." The Qur'aan 31: 13-20
