MAS-ICNA 2013: "Implementation of Shari'ah Objectives" - Jamal Badawi (Part 2 of 2)

Shari`ah promotes a set of values through all of its teachings, rulings, laws, and guidance. Scholars such as Imam Abu Hamid Al-Ghazali and Ash-Shatibi found a reason and wisdom behind what Islamic Shariah teaches and there is a set of major objectives it aims to achieve. Shari`ah aims at five objectives for people; that is to protect their religion, life, intellect, progeny and property. While pursuing our way towards developing our community and Ummah, we come across a lot of day-to-day challenges, which need deep understanding to the Islamic Shariah and its foundations so we can find a clear answer for our inquiries. This session discusses the wisdom behind these objectives and how can the deep understanding to them and the correct implementation help in resolving our today's challenges.
