This session discusses the need for
cooperation and coordination amongst the
many individuals and organizations who are
seeking to integrate Islam into the fabric ofAmerican life. What is the difference between
a "movement" and an "organization"? Why is
it necessary to establish a movement to best
serve the interests of Islam in America? Are
there any signs for establishing a "movement"
in the first Muslim society in Madinah?? How
can we create this vibrant movement and what
are the characteristics of its leaders and
followers? What benefits can this movement
gain from the history and dynamics of the
American reality?
