Islam & Romantic Love | Dr. Shabir Ally

Can two #Muslims fall deeply in love with each other? Does #romantic love have a place within Islam? As #Valentine’s Day approaches, Dr. Shabir Ally takes the opportunity to show how the #Quran describes the love that people have for each other. The #hadith literature also includes stories of love. He says that having feelings of love for another person before or outside of marriage isn’t sinful, but acting on those feelings in a way that is unlawful in the faith is problematic.
