Iftar w/ the Abdullah Brothers

AUG 5 - 6:30PM @ ICNA HQ (166-26 89th Ave, Jamaica, NY 11432) - Young Muslims & JMC Youth present, "Iftar w/ the Abdullah Brothers". Join us in an iftar with Hamza Abdullah, Husain Abdullah, and also other special guests, Ibtihaj Muhammad & Sadam Ali, a superb group of American Muslim athletes. Meet them and hear their inspiring stories.

HAMZA & HUSAIN ABDULLAH - they play professional football in the NFL, and have played for 7 and 4 years, respectively. Husain has spent all four of his professional years with the Minnesota Vikings. Hamza has spent time in Tampa Bay, Cleveland, Denver and most recently, the Arizona Cardinals. This season however, they both are putting their NFL football careers on hold in order to do their Hajj, the holy pilgrimage to Mecca. This Ramadan they are visiting Mosques across the U.S. to share their stories with the community.

IBTIHAJ MUHAMMAD - an American Sabre Fencer and a member of the United States Fencing Team. She was the first Muslim woman
to compete for the United States in an international competition.

SADAM ALI - born and raised in Brooklyn, in 2006, Ali won the National Golden Glove Championship. In 2008 Ali became the 1st
Arab-American to represent the US in the Olympics. He's currently 15-0 with 9KOs.
