ICNA Relief Kansas City Women's Supportive House

Alhamdulillah (by the Grace and Mercy of Allah (swt)) and support from the community ICNA Relief started its 1st Midwest region Supportive House for homeless women and children in September of 2011. This shelter in the Kansas City area is the only Muslim run shelter serving both Muslim and Non-Muslims alike.

In past 10 months, ICNA Relief's Women Shelter provided services to 15 residents so far, which includes nine women and six Children, out of which 8 Muslim and 1 non Muslim.

The current shelter has been running to it's maximum capacity recently. In order to fulfill the growing need of homeless people in the Midwest region ICNA Relief USA bought a facility located in the city of Raytown MO (across highway 435 and 63rd street).

Inshallah The facility will be remodeled to have 8 rooms and 4 full bathrooms, kitchen, dining, living and reception areas which will be used for Shelter. The new facility needs renovation and repair work. ICNA relief is committed to work on this project by the help of Allah swt and the financial support from the community. We need your help to complete this project.
