If you can't fast during #Ramadan, you might be feeling a little bit left out. Dr. Shabir Ally explains that God does not hold a person responsible for any more than they can do. Moreover, the Quran says that those who find fasting difficult have the possibility of giving a sort of compensation, which entails the feeding of a poor person. So you should not feel bad or deficient. You will not be penalized for not fasting. Dr. Shabir Ally adds that the Quran says fasting is about achieving God consciousness. If you cannot #fast, there are other means of achieving that aim.
