Forgive and Forget - Majed Mahmoud

Islam urges us to be tolerant and forgive others. This is indicated in both the Qur'aan and the Sunnah. Indeed, one of the features of Islam is that it is deen al-rahmah (the religion of mercy). By the same token the Muslim should be easy going, not one who puts others off; he/she should forgive when he is able to take revenge and be tolerant when people make mistakes.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER -

Majed Mahmoud was born in Saudi Arabia where he studied the basics of Theology, Hadith, Islamic jurisprudence (Fiqh), Tafseer & Tajweed for 9 years which was part of the Saudi school curriculum. He immigrated to Canada during high school. He then graduated from the University of Windsor with a bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering. Afterwards, Majed graduated from Wayne State University with a master degree in Business Administration. During this period he took over 40 courses with Al-Maghrib Institute & a few courses of tajweed & tafsir with Al-Bayyinah Institute.

He currently works as a Mechanical Engineer and conducts Islamic lectures locally and internationally. He is married & has two daughters, alhamdo lillah.
