Caring for orphans is a cause that was particularly dear to our beloved Prophet Muhammad (SAW). In his final sermon he (SAW) taught us that all human beings are equal in status "except in piety and good deeds". In the eyes of Allah our status is dependent upon our righteous actions. One of the best ways we can achieve righteousness and pleasure from Allah is by giving to orphans.
