Ex-Priest formally known as reverend Anthony swamy from east Malaysia was a Priest for 12 years before accepting Islam. From a very young age Anthony now Ayub Abdul Rahman his parents use to take him to church so as he grew up he always wanted to become a Priest as he wanted to help the poor and suffering.

So after he completed his education he decided to become a Roman Catholic monk. Then he travelled to different countries where he studied Christianity. He received a scholarship from the German government where he did his theological studies. After his studies he became attracted to a hospital in Germany where he became a Chaplin.

In that time he had been given the power to forgive sins an "international forgiver of sins" around the world. His had to bring people back into the church. He was taught by the church that only those who are baptised with holy water and Holy Spirit will enter the gates of heaven.

During this time he met many nice practising Muslims that worked in Germany who he wanted to save. So he decided to try and find out more about Islam so he can help these Muslims go to heaven.

He then proceed to ask his superiors and suggested his idea and asked if he can studies comparative religions in particular Islam his superiors accepted his proposal and asked where he wanted to go studies this he told him London. So he went mill hill missionaries in London during this period he met Muslim scholars from North Africa who he exchanged many books with.

One of them books being the Quran which he read from beginning to end trying to find mistakes in it. As he studied the Quran and Islam he began to realise that there was nothing wrong with it.

It made more sense he read over again and pondered deeply on the story of Mary in the Quran and compared it to that of the bible. Doubts of the bible went through his mind. After some time he decided to contact his superiors so after doing his prayers he asked God for guidance and then contacted them and told them he had done thorough study of Islam and Christianity and he found that the Islam has all the answers so he wanted to opt out of the ministries and become a Muslim. Within a few weeks he received a reply from them asking him to stop his studies and return to Germany.

So he did as they asked he was called into a meeting where all the senior monks where gathered they began their discussions. He told them why he changed his mind; they became extremely annoyed with him and gave him an ultimatum they said either repent or threatened to put him in a cell and not to ever allow him to go back to his country. They even threatened to tell his family he had died after a serious accident and show a picture of a tomb stone with his name on it. In the end they sent him to a mental hospital in Switzerland in which he spent 3 months during which he met many important Christian individuals who made him further decide on accepting Islam.

Ayub Abdul Rahman is now a full time caller to Islam many people have accepted Islam through his preaching including over 20 villages around Malaysia.
