Challenging the Niqab Ban | Zunera Ishaq

Back! The name Zunera Ishaq became well-known in Canada during the 2015 election. Zunera decided she wanted to wear the niqab during the citizenship oath, despite a government ban. She challenged the government’s ban, and won in the courts, not once, but twice! Zunera Ishaq is in studio with us to reflect on lessons she learnt from her legal battle.
