October is now officially recognized as Islamic Heritage Month in Ontario after legislature unanimously passed an act on Thursday. On behalf of our entire team, and as stated in NDP’s press release by our Executive Producer, Ilyas Ally, we would like to thank Andrea Horwath and MPP Teresa Armstrong for introducing this bill. We sit down with Dr. Shabir Ally to learn more about his thoughts on celebrating this ground-breaking moment, and month.
