The purpose of the “Character Series” is to re-introduce the following characteristics to the audience. Define what is meant by these characteristics and establish the importance of possessing these qualities. Focus of these sessions should be on relating how these attributes would apply in our everyday life. Examples from the life of Prophet, Sahaba, Tabeen and other Islamic personalities should be presented to give meaning and direction. It will be extremely important to show how these qualities apply in our day and age and how our audience can go home with a message that will “make them apply these in their lives. Make them better their lives and the lives of their families and loved ones”. How can these qualities better our communities and expand to show the masses the “true face of Islam” Those who repent - التوَّابِين - are very beloved to Allah (swt). This is what characterizes a God-fearing God-conscious human being from those who don't. Humans are inherently subject to mistakes and sin, but the best among them are the ones who as soon as when they recognize their mistake and sin, they immediately repent to Allah and ask for forgiveness.
