American Muslims: Shaping the Future Through Faith and Vision | Omar Suleiman #MASCON2017

Our 2016 convention prepared us for the uncertainty of the American Muslim role in U.S. society after divisive presidential elections. This convention, we turn towards tomorrow. American Muslims are determined to shape their future, face their challenges, pay their social dues, and protect their rights. The Ayah selected for the theme reflects how we are instructed to do so: “Say, ‘This is my way; I invite to Allah with insight, I and those who follow me.’” [Quran 12:108]

The Annual MAS-ICNA Convention is one of the largest and most diverse Islamic conventions in North America. The convention takes place in Chicago, Illinois every December during the winter holiday season.
