9. Reflections on the Quran | Compartmentalized Religion

The people of the Prophet Shu’ayb peace be upon him were the first secularists. Our approach to religion in modern times mirrors their attitude, albeit subconsciously. It’s essential we recognize that nothing we do falls outside the Sharia, and everything has a ruling and is being recorded. Ramadan is a time for us to become more present aware of this fact so that religion moves from being a thing we do and becomes a way of life in everything we do.
