Dr. Shabir Ally explains that if someone finds a #hadith in isolation and tries to make sense of it, it may be wildly misunderstood because it is taken out of its proper context. He says that the average person does not need to go searching the major collections of hadiths and then decide which hadiths to use in their lives. This decision is often made by #Muslim scholars who study the Prophet’s biography and societal context and the relationship between hadiths and #Quran. These scholars select from the hadith collections and include the appropriate hadiths in their sermons and handbooks.
