Muslim Superheroes Ep.5: Fatima Al-Fihri

Fatimah Al-Fihri was the founder of the oldest university in the world. She decided to put her life in the service of Allah ﷻ. For over one thousand years students have come and teachers have taught among some of the famous graduates of this school. Some of them include Ibn Haldun, Ibn Rushd, Maimonides, and Pope Sylvester II.

What did it mean to Fatimah Al-Fihri to be in the service of Allah ﷻ? To us it means to invest in the scholars, families, and individuals who will fill our sacred spaces to collectively engage in a spiritual pursuit of knowledge and excellence. Learn her story.
