Youth Suicides in Toronto Bengali Community | Nesar Ahamed

13 young #Bengali men in #Toronto died by #suicide over a period of 2 years. A group of Bengali Canadian #researchers wanted to find out why. They held focus groups and conducted interviews to understand the challenges faced by youth in the Bengali community. Nesar Ahamed is a social worker and lead researcher of the study. He shares the study’s major findings and recommendations with Dr. Safiyyah Ally.
