BUTTERFLY BOY: A Story of Patience - Mohamed Hoblos

Basit Bahram suffers from a rare and incurable genetic disease that causes his skin to fall off. It’s known as Epidermolysis bullosa or EB for short and has resulted in the formation of countless blisters and wounds across his body. Mainly affecting his legs, the disease has taken away his ability to walk freely and even perform simple daily tasks.

In this piece, Basit opens up to Mohamed Hoblos about his trials, tribulations and spiritual challenges. It is an incredibly emotional story of patience, perseverance, and faith.
